Dear Year 2,
We have given you lots of different pieces of work to do while you are at home. The work we have given you is a selection of all of the things that we have done in Year 2 so far. Don’t worry if there is something that you can ‘t do, or that you don’t understand, you can ask anyone who is at home with you to help and if you still don’t understand we will sort it out when you get back to school.
We will keep setting different work for you, and you will be able to find this on the school website. There are also lots of extra things in your pack that you may be able to do by yourself, but if you don’t get time to do it all that’s fine. We have also given you a list of lots of websites you might like to use to help you with your learning.
While you aren’t at school enjoy your time with your family, do as many things as you can that you really enjoy. Play board games, play in the garden, watch a film together, do some baking, read your favourite books but most importantly take care of each other.
We will see you all very soon.

Pentecost 2 Week 8 W/C 20.7.20
As we enter the last week of this academic year, and the return of some children for the last two days in Year 2, we would like to say how proud we are of you all.
This year has been very different to any other, with many of you working from home. The attitude and resilience you have all shown has been amazing. For the children who have been in the Keyworker Bubble in school, you have adapted magnificently to all of the changes in routine and continued to work hard and always done your best.
We have shared phone calls and Zoom calls, something we never thought we would have to do as we started the year. You have all shared a number of different experiences at home with your families and we are sure you have learnt many new skills.
We look forward to welcoming some of you back on Wednesday and Thursday. For those of you that we will not see until September, have a wonderful summer and stay safe.
Mrs Dougal, Miss Tomycz, Mrs Mitchell, Mrs Bottoms, Mrs Sarno and Miss Dawes xx

Hello Year 2,
It has been a while since we last saw you all and we hope that you are all still doing well.
Over the past few weeks we have been ringing you at home, and hopefully we have managed to speak to most of you. It has been lovely hearing about all of the exciting things that you have been doing and we have been very lucky that the sun keeps shining for us. We know that it has been quite strange having to do school work at home but we hope you are still enjoying the work that you have been set.
There may have been some work that you have found a little difficult but don't worry, as long as you have tried your best that is all that matters. When it is your time to come back to school all of the teachers will be here to help and support you.
So, for now, keep trying your best and enjoy all of the activities that you have been doing with your families.
Stay safe.
