Year 3 Work

The latest work will appear here at the top of the page.

Dear children,

We hope you have been staying safe at home (or at school, if your mummies and daddies can't work from home). We hope you have been working hard but also enjoying time with your families, brothers and sisters and pets. We have been looking at your activities on Purple Mash and adding stars and cups for your effort and work. If you haven't yet completed the Purple Mash 2Dos list, make sure you fit that in when you can. We have been tweeting lots of activity ideas of things that you can do, on the school Twitter account including wildlife activities, garden ideas, links to reading activities and drawing tutorials, prayer activities and links for streamed Masses. Please take a look at these and see what you can do. A Maths Problem of the Day is added to Twitter every day too and there is also a Times Tables Rockstars battle, each week. There is an Andy Goldsworthy challenge to create some art using natural items from your garden.

And also lots of ideas for nature activities from the Woodland Trust and Wildlife Trusts. Have a go at some of these over Easter. Hopefully the sun will shine again.

Send any photos of your work or activities to community@goodshepherd.notts.sch.uk We would love to see what you have been up to - we miss you, your smiles and your stories. Be kind and stay safe, lots of love Mrs McGee, Miss Ryan, Mrs Milner and Miss Murphy x

Dear children,

We will miss you while school is closed but we know that you will continue to be the best version of you! Remember to have breaks, snack times, exercise, brain breaks and vary your activities! Try your best and present your work neatly in your books. Writing activities and handwriting practise can include writing letters and cards to your loved ones and relatives abroad. Your parents may want to adapt some of these activities to suit your needs and interests. We will post art, nature and mindfulness activities and update things regularly. Most importantly, always be kind and helpful and say your prayers. Continue to be your fabulous, caring selves and we will look forward to seeing you again and finding out what you have been up to. This is one more adventure in life - make the most of everyday. May God bless you all with  good health, love from the Year 3 team x
