Thank you for visiting our website. I hope that you find the information that you are looking for and that you get a ‘flavour’ of the ethos of our school, up to date news as well as our recent events and successes.
We are delighted to have recently been judged outstanding in our latest Diocesan Canonical inspection.
Here at the GSA, the Gospel message is the focus of our school life, not only in prayer and celebration but through our actions, relationships, learning opportunities and play; through this we aim to produce a living Christian community where Christ is at the centre. We recognise that Jesus is our greatest teacher and we strive to be more like him in all that we do and say. By working together we aim to create an environment where every member of the community feels safe, loved, valued and respected and through this can experience success.
We offer a broad and balanced curriculum enriched with visitors, visits, events and activities to inspire in each child a joy of learning, a nurturing of unique and individual talents and to provide memories that will sustain them beyond their time at school and equip them for later life. At the GSA we have, and encourage the children to have, high expectations of themselves and what they can achieve as it is through this and hard work that they will reach their full potential and life goals.
Our school is proud of its strong community. We value our partnership with parents and carers, the parish we serve and the wider community. We acknowledge the crucial role played by our parents and carers as an integral part of our school community and appreciate their involvement in the life and work of the school.
I am proud to be the Head Teacher of this lively, thriving and growing community with supportive staff, governors and parents.
I look forward to meeting you and working with you.
