School Uniform

School Uniform for Nursery – Year 6

We believe that a good school uniform helps pupils to have pride in themselves and their school and encourages a sense of belonging.

Our uniform is based on the two colours, navy blue and grey and complete adherence to it is expected.

All children need:

  • A navy blue blazer with the Academy badge displayed on the top pocket. Blazers are worn during the warmer months and when representing the school (optional)
  • A school tie (not for Nursery children)
  • A navy blue or black outdoor warmer coat which is worn during the colder months, without a blazer
  • White or navy blue socks, long or short
  • School shoes, black or navy blue – please note that trainers and ‘fashion’ shoes are not allowed

All boys need:

  • A white shirt (a white polo shirt for Nursery)
  • Grey shorts or grey long trousers
  • A navy blue v neck jumper

All girls need:

  • A white blouse (a white polo shirt for Nursery)
  • A navy blue plain skirt or pinafore dress for the winter months and a blue and white checked or striped dress for the summer months
  • A navy blue cardigan
  • Grey tailored trousers are a suitable option for girls, especially in colder weather (fashion trousers and black trousers are not permitted)

PE kit (F2 – Year 6)

  • All pupils wear a white T-shirt, navy blue sports shorts and white/black/navy trainers
  • In colder weather, pupils may wear a navy blue tracksuit or sweatshirt / jogging bottoms (no logos)
  • Football boots are not required for ordinary PE or Games, but may be needed by those taking part in extra-curricular games
  • Please note that certain types of leisure shorts are not suitable for vigorous movement, and are not allowed as part of our PE kit
